Post requirement

Have you considered removing the post requirement for downloads? All it really does is promote spam from the people who want to download but don't have anything interesting or productive to say. Granted, 2 posts isn't as much as the 10 or 25 that you see in some places, but even a little spam is still spam.

Heck, even allowing the Introductions and Spam forums to count would at least keep the spam out of the way and give such posters something to say in their two posts. As it is, we have to clutter the otherwise more productive forums with posts just for the sake of posting. Because let's face it, one can't be a contributing member of every forum for every group they follow, and there's not really much to say to a bunch of faceless strangers that one has no intention of ever talking to again. And the ones that do want to stick around and post would do so even without the requirement.

making to non-spam posts is not that hard. The fact that a person is here means that they like manga or maybe manga and anime. All it takes is someone to post something they like about a certain manga in that  thread to get one post. or you can make a new thread about some other manga that you like.

All I am going to say is that, for now, the post requirement is staying.

Also, to anyone who reads this:

If we end up getting a spamming issue, we will automatically IP ban anyone who spams for the downloads. That is to say, your posts are welcome, but if you're causing problems like writing one letter posts, etc. then you will be banned & never be able to download our releases.

If there is no problems though, we will not resort to these measures. I hope everyone enjoy their stay here!

We have discussed this internally and decided that two posts is not much, so we will keep it.  We provide many avenues to get the file without needing to post here on www.manga-haven.net with megaupload and mediafire downloads and online viewing via the haven reader at www.haven-reader.net.
