i wanna add somethin related to quality and subtitle adds...
if u want best quality avi possible u will have to set ur codec config accordingly...
u can find it as pictured... (just overlook the fact thats all those german rubbish makes no sense to u Tongue )

u will get to this menu
I recommend to just set Bitrate (kbps) to 10000,
u will get a damn hugh avi this way but u can delete it after encoding the avi to Rmvb anyways,
and this way u wont have quali loss from mkv to avi encode...

now to add a sub title file

after u dubble click on the green arrow on taskbar u get to this menu.

here u can browse for ur subtitle files if its not set automatically.
and choose it on the drop down list afterwards.
the "only show forced subtitle" option will keep the subtitle format the sub team originally used...
not activating that will result in the sub title getting Arial and plain white...
since most sub title groups have a pretty nice format for their texts i recommend to use it.

damn... that's .. a bit... too detailed lol
i only needed a name of an application to convert and now i found one
thanks damned medo  Grin
btw kokingz... 10000 bitrate is just too much
it will probably make conversion take longer time
i believe 2000 will be enough for average sized AVI, maybe 4000 for HD size.. even 4000 might be a lot

i tried some other bitrates like 2000, 1500, 4000 and 5000 aswell and it didnt take any longer....(about 20 - 25 mins for my notebook, with music runnin) well as far as i know its only the maximum bitrate.... meaning, with setting it to 100000 it can work without a limit and will make a 1:1 encode, u will prolly get the same result already with 4000 kbps (an avi almost two times the size of the mkv Tongue ) , coz its neva really using this high bitrates.... (or thats how i think it works)
but u are of course right, u dont really need to set it to 10000,(wont hurt either though) but its on 800 or somethin by default and will only give out really crappy avis, if u want ur avis to have a particular size u will have to try some different bitrates, but i wont go under the 2000 kbps momo mentioned.  Cheesy
