Do you buy anime when it is released in your country?  How often do you buy it?

mmmmm...ice cream

mmmmm...asim's plans burning in ruin

I do buy anime.  I buy it when I have money and there are no better movies or tv shows to buy.  I would buy it more often, but it is expensive.  I can buy a tv show that is an 45-50 minutes long and has 20+ episodes for less than I can buy a 20-25 minute 12-13 episode anime.

I only buy $3-$5 anime from like Dollar General and Big Lots, almost never though.

They do get some big series at those stores,  like Case Closed and Yu Yu Hakusho, although you have no guarantee of getting 2 discs that go go one after another.

I occasionally buy anime from a couple websites relatively cheap.

good series or ones that are well animated that would benefit from a noncompressed format i usually buy, when they release as a boxset........after the price drop. but most of the time b4 this site i rented ....which was a waste of money coz most of the ones for rent where either 4+ years old and being marketed as new release or absolute crap.
