I picked up the manga after watching the anime and i must say i was not impressed with the direction
It got waaaaay to big and too much chaos theory and stuff along the way. C'mon, they got Obama involved! I liked the simple high school kids being badass ****ers on some motor skates. they could of just had a tournament, have the evil gang in the city across, even in a different region. But they over blew it and now it has gone way too far.
I still read this btw, and i still enjoy it to an extent. But i wish it hadnt gone this way. If i knew it did this, i probably wouldnt have read on after the anime
