So everyone has their favorite action book, and everyone has a sport manga. But what about something that keeps you rolling in the isle? Comedy is hard, something to make everyone laugh is a difficult task.

yotsubato really is good, its not like your conventional generic shounen bullshit which makes it much better, i grow bored easily with that kind of crap, i like mangaka who come up with band new ideas for stories with interesting twists, it gets boring reading the same shit over and over again

Slice of life comedy are getting more common, but writers gotta 1up each previous success. If you expect to get by with the same stuff as before, they got another thing coming.
But I do notice a trend; girl group comedy. Azumanga, Lucky Star, School Rumble, K-On, and GA all involve a group of girls in one way or another. Are girls more funny than guys? A nice point to ponder.
